The aim of the centre is to provide additional support for students of mathematics and sciences. It provides an alternate environment for students to enjoy science through hands on experiments. Much of the experiments will centre on GCSE and A’ Level material and aimed at extending and reinforcing conceptual understanding. However, many experiments will be atypical, allowing Students to use equipment they would not normally use in a typical school laboratory.

We hope to rekindle a love for science, develop experimental skills and help students to have a deeper appreciation of the role of science in society. This programme is especially suitable for students hoping to pursue science oriented careers such as medicine and engineering.

Separate GCSE and A’ level courses are offered for integrated and separate sciences and mathematics. While the main aim is to prepare students for their respective examinations, the application of mathematics in each area of science will be strongly emphasised. The idea is to hasten the effective transfer of mathematical concepts which are indispensable in the field of science.

You may book tutorial sessions for mathematics or science at £10 per hour. A minimum payment of £40 for four sessions is required.

Laboratory sessions may be booked seperately at £15 per session, where a session lasts for one and a half hours. A minimum payment of £60 for four sessions is required.
